FOOD PROGRAM
Crosswalk Preschool provides a morning snack, a balanced lunch, and an afternoon snack for all enrolled children. Our meals align with the Washoe County School District’s meal plans and are planned using the NUTRIKIDS Menu Planning and Nutritional Analysis software. Each meal is designed to include protein, vegetables, grains, and dairy. A monthly food calendar is posted in the center’s main room for easy reference.
NV QRIS Participation
Crosswalk Preschool actively participates in the Nevada Quality Rating and Improvement System (NV QRIS). This program supports our ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of our early childhood education program.
